One way or another, we will finally get to see the “world’s thinnest smartphone” in the coming days, and no, it’s not the Ascend P1 (in spite of Huawei claiming that title at CES in January).

A few weeks ago, we’ve told you that Oppo, a relatively unknown Chinese phone maker, was gearing to claim Huawei’s record, with a smartphone that is just 6.65 mm thick (about a quarter of an inch).
