There is no doubt that the widely popular Angry Birds series is one of the worlds most favorite mobile game. So why should Rovio stop with Angry Birds on Android and iOS? Why not expand it to other platforms as well? It does not make sense does it? Rovio doesn’t think it does either, as they have ported the extremely popular game to Windows Phone 7! Users of the platform (and we’re sure there aren’t many of you) can pick up the app for $0.99 and join in on all of the action they have been drooling over since deciding on a Windows Phone over Android or iOS.
Regardless, it’s great to see that Finland-based Rovio is bringing the popular Angry Birds: Space app to Windows Phone 7. The platform has lacked this extremely popular app for quite some time now (for more than obvious reasons), but now it’s available! Aside from poking fun at Windows Phone users, I do like how users of the platform can trial an app before fully purchasing it. That’s one handy thing that I wish most platforms would integrate into their own stores, as the 5 to 15 minute window for a refund does not really feel like enough. Although, that isn’t a problem with Angry Birds as there is always a free ad-supported one available or a paid ad-free version available.
