HTC has announced the latest member of its One-series of Android-powered smartphones, the One SV, for the British market. Despite the lack of pricing in the press release, the HTC One SV will become available in the UK in the coming weeks, via selected operator, retail and distribution partners.
The specs of the One SV are modest; it is packing a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual core processor, 4.3 inch super LCD-2 touch screen with WVGA resolution, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, five-megapixel main camera, 1.6MP front-facer, NFC, Beats Audio, plus the usual suspects, all powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with HTC’s own Sense UI on top of it. The phone also features 4G LTE capabilities and the phone will be available through EE.
The One SV has been announces at the beginning of November for certain regions but those in the UK looking for a mid-range phone with “HTC’s stunning signature design” should be able to grab it soon in Pyrenees blue and Glacier white flavors.
