Korean manufacturer LG has announced that it has sold over ten million L-series (previously known as L-Style series) smartphones since L-series debut at the Mobile World Congress earlier this year. The company had originally announced three L-series smartphones Optimus L3, Optimus L5 and Optimus L7, thereafter L3 and L5 got dual-SIM versions. These dual-SIM versions are now available in select countries across the globe including India.
The latest smartphone to join LG L-series is Optimus L9, which was announced recently and is currently on sale in India.
According to a press release issued by the company today, the global sales of all L-Series devices have passed 10 million units. This might not be huge milestone, but is certainly a big feat for the company, which has struggled a lot in the recent years thanks to the smartphone domination by Samsung and Apple.
LG also added that currently all of the L-series smartphones are available in fifty markets across the globe.
