Verge claimed that so-called Nokia EOS will sport similar camera specs to the 808 PureView, which featured a 41-megapixel snapper.
The handset seemed to be coated in aluminium, rather than plastic, which give it a more premium look and feel than Nokia's Lumia Windows Phone line.
Nokia is also rumoured to be refreshing its Lumia line with an aluminium-bodied model of the Lumia 920 and a new mid-range addition to the range.
It is also rumored that the Nokia's new hardware may be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next month.
