Tickets for Google’s I/O developer conference sold out in less than an hour

Hey did you hear? Google opened up registrations for its I/O developer conference earlier today. Were you interested in getting tickets?

Sorry, they’re already sold out.

A cousin of a solid source close to people familiar with the matter informed us that the conference tickets were gone in between 48 and 52 minutes. Last year, it took about 20 minutes for I/O to sell out.
