Google’s new Hangouts app will soon support SMS integration
During the I/O developers conference, Google introduce a new application named as Hangouts. This app was released for Android, iOS, Gmail and Chrome and it supports Google Talk, Google+ Hangouts and Google Messenger.
Community manager of Google+ Hangouts and chats "Dori Storbeck" yesterday confirmed that the Hangouts app will soon support the SMS integeration noting that is it one of the company’s “most requested features.”
This ability of sending and receiving SMS messages will help Google to compete with BlackBerry’s upcoming cross-platform BBM app an Apple's iMessage service.
