The upcoming version of the 7-inch Google Nexus Tablet will most probably be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor replacing Nvidia Tegra 4 chip, although the current Nexus 7 is powered by Tegra 3 chip.According to a market analyst, Michael McConnell, the Nexus 7 would be powered Qualcomm Snapdragon APQ8064 (S4 Pro) chipset and will be available second quarter of 2013.
Talking to financial website Barron's, McConnel explained that Google decided to change to Qualcomm becuase it is more efficiently integrated between the actual processor and 3G/4g modem, and due to its 'competitive pricing'. Another analyst, Evan Wilson, who follows Google has predicted that Google will manage to sell 10 million of Nexus 7 by 2014.
Images of this upcoming budget version of 7-Inch tablet have been leaked on the web.Once again, ASUS tops the list to be manufacturing the Nexus 7 and sell it for $99(RS.5,300 approx.). The next Nexus 7 is rumoured to have aboard, 1 GB of RAM and a 7-Inch IPS display with a resolution of 1024×600 pixels.
