Review: Samsung Series 3 Chrome Box Gets an Update

In the first half of last year Samsung launched the original series 3 chromebox. Chrome box is basically a desktop PC similar to Mini Mac. It is simply a small PC design to run Chrome Operating System.

The updated model is the XE300M22-B01US but its hardware is identical to that released in mid-2012. The best thing is that the Samsung has given a new look to it i.e a shiny new plastic case.

Here are some of its features :

• 1.9 GHz Intel Celeron B840 processors
• Intel HD graphics
• 4GB of RAM
• 16GB solid state disks
• 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi
• a 2W mono speaker
• 6 USB 2.0 ports
• a DVI port
• headset jack
• 2 Display PortsThe new model will continue to be priced at $329 in the US.
