A couple of days back, ZTE announced that they would be the first to unveil smartphone with Nvidia Tegra 4. This part was unveiled earlier this year at Mobile World Congress with four Cortex-A15 cores plus a 72-core GPU. Moreover the handset will also integrate Nvidia's i500 LTE modem.
The advantage of this software based modem is that it can be upgraded over the air to improve quality and provide more features. ZTE said that this first model will not available in China until first half of this year.
Its not the first time that Nvidia and ZTE are producing smartphones together. Earlier they have produced some decent Nvidia smartphones like the Grand X and the Grand Era.
