Virgin Mobile has started selling its prepaid Apple iPhone a day earlier than initially announced. Customers can choose between the 16GB iPhone 4S for $649.99 or the 8GB iPhone 4 for $549.99. Either phone can be paired with Virgin's $35 per month plan that offers unlimited data (throttled after 2.5GB), unlimited text messaging, and 300 voice minutes. Neither phone requires a contract. It appears that the iPhone is currently only available for purchase at Virgin's online store, but the carrier previously announced that it would eventually be available from retailers such as Best Buy and Radio Shack.
