Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 to hit US stores on July 7, price starts at $199



Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 on his way to US, hitting the stores on July 7. The tablet's pre-order starting from tomorrow i.e on Tuesday June 25. The tablet is likely to come in 3 sizes: 7 inches, 8 inches and 10.1 inches.

The tablet was launched early in June and will be available from from several retailers like Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon and Office Depot, to name a few. Samsung's online store will also retail the Galaxy Tab 3 tablets.

VP of Samsung Telecommunication America 'Nanada Ramachanran' says"The Galaxy Tab 3 portfolio offers consumers more options for tablets that serve as their ultimate smartphone companion, the center of home and on-the-go use, and mobile devices packed with content and services."

Talking of its features and specs, the 7-inch Galaxy Tab 3 will pack a TFT display with 1024 x 600 pixels resolution. Under the hood there's a dual-core 1.2GHz processor. With 8 GB of storage on board the tablet also offer additional memory via the micro SD slot. It will come with a price tag of $199 and  will run on an Android 4.1 jelly bean OS.

The 8-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 has a same TFT display but will pack powerful Exynos 1.5GHz dual-core processor. With a 5MP primary camera tablet touts 1.5GB of RAM. The tablet will be priced at $299 and will run on an Android 4.2 jelly bean OS. Along with this there's a 16GB capacity on board, which is also expandable via a microSD card.

The 3rd tablet will be priced at $399 which will also runs an Android 4.2 jelly bean. It powers an Intel Z2560 Clover Trail+ 1.6GHz dual-core processor. This tablet has 1280 x 800 pixel resolution.
