Citi's Glen Yeung says "Apple is expected to give the signal to the supply chain this month to start cooking up components for the much-rumored iWatch". Yesterday Yeung in an investors note release said "We believe iWatch is in a greater state of readiness, with the supply chain now waiting for the production go-ahead from Apple, We suspect the go/no-go decision will be made in June and are leaning toward a 'go' outcome at this time."
Reportedly, Apple has filed for a trademark on the "iWatch" brand in Russia and along with rumors also came that Apple was testing 1.5 inch OLED displays for the new device. Earlier a rumor also came that Apple iWatch may be 3 years away due to the development time of flexible glass. But know this does not seems to go like that, as from latest report the device is likely to come by 2nd half of this year.
