The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is spearheading Samsung's lineup of tablets that the manufacturer has decided to update with Android 4.0. Unfortunately for those who are familiar with the ease and speed of an OTA update, this one will be done via the Kies system which requires you to download the Kies software and then connect the tablet to your PC in order to capture the update.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 offers what else but a 7.7 inch Super AMOLED screen with resolution of 1280 x 800 and pixel density of 196ppi. SO far, nothing to write home about. Under the hood is a dual-core 1.4GHz CPU paired with the Mali-MP 400 GPU. 1GHz of RAM is aboard and there is 64GB of native memory on board the tablet. a 32GB capacity microSD slot can help you pack on additional storage. The 3MP rear-facing camera with AF and an LED flash captures video in 720p while there is a 2MP front-facing shooter.
Sammy has said that it would update most of its tablets by the end of August, and it looks like the Korean manufacturer is off to a good start.
