Samsung Mobile has started taking pre-orders for its Galaxy Beam projector smartphone in India. Currently, the device is available for pre-orders on Samsung India's e-store at Rs 29,900 and the amount has to be paid in full.
The availability of Galaxy Beam on Samsung e-store has given rise to speculation that the company is on the verge of releasing the device in the domestic market. However, presently there are no details about its launch date on the website. Previously, Samsung was expected to roll out the device in South West Asia in May 2012, but postponed it.
