Nokia Launched its Lumia 610 in Indian market





BANGALORE, INDIA: Finish handset maker Nokia today expanded its Lumia series in India market with the introduction of Lumia 610, which has no front camera, but boasts of social networking capabilities.






Lumia 610 runs on the latest Windows 7.5 operating system but can't be upgraded to the much awaited Windows 8 OS, due to hardware requirements. Like its predecessors, Nokia Lumia 610 is also targeted at youth buying their first smartphone.




Lumia 610 provides speedy access to social networks, better music sorting options and also image editing. It boasts of better UI, creating continuity and interaction flow.

Nokia Lumia 610 will be available in India at approximate price tag of Rs 12,999.




For now, if someone is expecting a powerful Lumia phone, there is no choice but to wait for Lumia 900, expected to be launched in a few months on Windows 8 platform.
