Last week, Verizon announced the opening of pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S3 smartphone and said that it would start shipping the device by July 9. But according to a latest update by the carrier, the shipping date has been pushed back by one whole day to July 10.According to The Verge, the July 10 shipping date of the Galaxy S3 doesn't clarify enough when customers will finally be able to get hold of the flagship smartphone, and the "by" suggests that it might be shipped even a bit earlier than expected.
When it comes to other carriers, AT&T announced that it would start shipping Galaxy S3 on June 18, just ahead of Sprint's release date on June 21.
Two versions of the Galaxy S3 are up for pre-orders on Verizon - the price for 16GB is $199.99 and for 32GB it is 249.99, both subsidized under a two-year contract. In addition, Verizon consumers will also have to subscribe to a $30 monthly 4G LTE mobile broadband data plan that offers 2GB of data allowance each month.According to a report by Phone Scoop, Verizon will offer a software update with its version of Galaxy S3, allowing users to have conversations around the world
