Bad news for those interested in the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note as it appears that the T-Mobile Galaxy Note’s release date has been moved all the way to August 8th.
TMoNews has unearthed a document that seems to indicate that the device, which was originally thought to be coming on July 11th, might not be coming until August 8th, if it even comes at all.
The document reveals a red font over the 9/8 release date listed next to the Galaxy Note which means that it’s an updated release date and which also seems to point to a “delayed” release.
Clearly, this is not what those interested in a T-Mobile Galaxy Note wanted to hear but since T-Mobile never announced anything, it’s hard to be too upset at the carrier. It is, however, a little disconcerting that the T-Mobile Galaxy Note launch has been moved closer to the rumored launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has been pegged for either a September or October release date and it’s said to be coming with some outstanding specifications. Rumored specs include a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with 1680 x 1050 resolution, a design similar to the Galaxy S III, a dual-core 1.7 GHz or higher Exynos CPU with 1.5GB of RAM and 4G LTE connectivity for U.S. models.
This news also comes a day after several features of the T-Mobile Galaxy Note were revealed, including its dual-core processor, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, and its HSPA+ connectivity.
