A new commercial for the Samsung GALAXY Note II shows how the 5.5 inch phablet is perfectly at home in the office. It must be nice to work for the made-up company in the spot, because at the beginning of the ad we are told that they bought their employees the device. Not too many companies can afford to do that these days.
The rest of the commercial shows off the Multi-Window multitasking feature that has now been pushed out to all customers of the top four U.S. carriers that own the device. Multi-Window allows you to cut your screen in half (not literally) and run two apps at the same time. The female employee sees this feature allowing her to double her fun. She can "Watch videos and text," she says. But the male employee is having none of that. He tells her that they can be watching the earnings report and taking notes. She continues to show him some goofy things that Multi-Window can let you do, while he says that she can be "doing some work and some other kinds of work."
Which one of them gets invited to a Polynesian lunch with a poo-poo platter? Does sticking to business pay off or is it better to let your hair down in the office? We won't ruin the end for you, but we will let you know that the Samsung GALAXY Note II definitely steals the scenes.
