Samsung Galaxy S III Mini Patent Claims Dropped By Apple

Apple has put on the good cop hat, as they have dropped the litigation against Samsung’s Galaxy S III Mini smartphone as the Korean tech giant has no plans to sell the device in the U.S. market. This is nothing to brag about though, as Apple is still continuing to wage war against some of Samsung’s other top devices. I’m sure that a little weight was dropped off of Sammy’s shoulders after hearing this news though.

Samsung began selling the Galaxy S III Mini in European countries back in October in order to compete with the critically acclaimed iPhone 5. Reuters claims that Apple saw no need to involve the Galaxy S III Mini in the fight against Samsung since the sales of the device would not be affecting the U.S. market whatsoever.
