NVIDIA releases TegraZone gaming hub for Windows RT

In case you aren't entirely satisfied with the selection of games available for Windows RT, NVIDIA has you covered... as long as your device is powered by a Tegra 3 SoC. The TegraZone app, which millions of Android users are well familiar with already, has made its way to Windows RT and can now be downloaded for free from the Marketplace.

In its catalog, owners of the Microsoft Surface RT and other Tegra 3 based slates will find console-quality games like Riptide GP, Reckless Racing Ultimate, Soulcraft, Vendetta Online and many more, all of which have been programmed to take advantage of all the processing power that NVIDIA's quad-core chip has to offer. For example, textures come in higher resolutions, and the physics effects are more realistic, not to mention that you'll notice improvements in dynamic lighting and particle effects. You won't see that eye candy in the standard versions of these games.
