Nokia Lumia 510 exists, headed to China

Well, looks like the rumors might be onto something after all. There is a successor to the Nokia Lumia 610 in the works, as a post on Chinese web site Baidu reveals. The smartphone is being referred to as the Nokia Lumia 510, and its rumored hardware specs are pretty modest, as you might expect.

The Lumia 510 is said to offer a 4-inch LCD touchscreen and a 5-megapixel camera with no LED flash. The MSM7227A chip inside ticks at 800MHz and is backed up by 256MB of RAM. To no surprise, Windows Phone 7.8 will run on the device, possibly not out of the box, rather after an update from 7.5. The unit itself has a thickness of under 12 millimeters and weighs 129 grams.

It is believed that the Nokia Lumia 510 is tailored for the Chinese market, so we aren't certain whether it will ever come to Europe or the U.S. Pricing is yet unknown, but we are expecting a very tempting price tag attached to this entry-level smartphone.
