Already out of stock for some time at the Google Play Store, the Google Nexus 10 showed up yesterday on Staples online site, where the tablet was once again sold out. The Samsung built, Android flavored tablet is Google's main competition for the Apple iPad with a 10 inch screen and 2560 x 1600 resolution that produces a pixel density of 300 ppi. The display on the third and fourth generation of the Apple iPad has a pixel density of 264ppi.
The Google Nexus 10 was also spotted at some physical Staples locations as well as in Walmart stores. Walmart's website has the 32GB variant of the tablet available for pick-up at the store or via home delivery. But those purchasing the tablet online from the discounter will have to resign themselves to missing Christmas this year as the earliest delivery date is December 27th.
The Google Nexus 10 is equipped with a 10.05 inch screen with the aforementioned 2560 x 1600 resolution and a pixel density of 300ppi. A dual-core 1.7GHz processor drives the tablet while 2GB of RAM is on board. The 5MP camera on back captures video in 1080p at 30fps while the 1.9MP camera on front is adept at taking self-portraits and supporting video chat. Android 4.2.1 is now installed. When in stock, the tablet is $399 for 16GB and $499 for 32GB.
